2372 jobs for students of Dong A University right before Graduation Ceremony

On July 14, at the University of Dong A, the Career Day of 2018 took place right before the Graduation Ceremony with the calling for 2,372 direct positions of 34 businesses (enterprises). A great festival is both an opportunity to affirm the school's training brand and also to implement the consistent commitment of Dong A University: graduates will have jobs.

Accordingly, 1,363 students at the University of Dong A graduated from the first phase to participate in the Graduation Ceremony and Career Day, ready to contribute the most to the development of enterprises, becoming new graduates, engineer with a solid knowledge and skills to join the world of high quality jobs in Central and Vietnam in particular and the world in general.

With 2,372 vacancies from 34 companies participating in direct recruitment, Career Day 2018 is the year with the highest number of vacancies compared to previous ones.

Accordingly, with domestic recruitment demand exceeding 1.74 times compared to the number of graduates in this phase, 2372 positions in all fields of Nursing, Tourism, Electricity-Electronics training, Construction, Business Administration, English Language, Office Administration, Human Resource Management, Financial Accounting, Information Technology, ... are recruited by businesses such as UHM Group, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( SeAbank) -CN Da Nang, PNJ, Brilliant KS, VNPT Building and Management Company.

On this annual Career Day 2018, 46 students of the Nursing, Information Technology, Tourism and Business Administration are also officially recruited by 7-Eleven corporations, Route Inn, ITS, Global Design IT (Japan), Empire Inc. Holdings (Singapore) in form of internship and paid jobs in Japan and Singapore, bringing the total number of students received by foreign businesses in 2018 to 186 students. Among these employers, the city of Yokohama (Japan) also had a formal letter of recommendation and gave the decision to receive the first 20 students of Nursing from Dong A University to work in Japan in 2018.

Students of all faculties such as Nursing, IT, Business Administration, Tourism, Electricity - Electronics, Automotive of Dong A University are connecting not only with the domestic businesses but also foreign ones under program of Vietnamese engineers in Japan, in two phases. The first is to study the profession and the Japanese language to get to know the work, the cultural experience and improve professional Japanese language. In the second phase, students come back to Dong A University for graduation and then go to Japan to work as official employees.

As a pioneer university actively integrating into the world market, Dong A university has connected with many partners in Japan, Germany and Singapore. These partners are mostly transnational corporations, which have recruited more than 3000 students from Dong A University annually. They are 7-Eleven, Zensho, Route-Inn, LEOC, Japan Material Engineering Services, Japan Building Maintenance Association (JBMA), Asean Car Business Career-Japan; major nursing schools such as Kouseikai, Nanakamado, Aoyama, Kibi International University, JBMA Building Maintenance Association; Empire Inc Holdings of Singapore; Leonardis Group, WBS AG, and Azurit of Germany.

At the same time, in the program, Vietnam Tourism Joint Stock Company (Vitours) and Dong A University also officially signed a cooperation on practical training and human resource supply in Hospitality Management, Tourism and Tourism Services Administration at Dong A University. Accordingly, Vitours will take care of the practical modules for students and prioritize receiving from 50-70 students of Dong A University to practice and work annually.

The solemn graduation ceremony for the first 14 new Master of Business Administration and 100% of students of undergraduates took place in the afternoon on the same day.
