Daiso group employed students of Business Management Major to undertake paid intern-ship in Japan

In January 2019, representatives from Daiso Group directly interviewed and employed 5 students of Business Management Major - Dong A University for the paid internship program in Japan. These students are evaluated to have good vocational and Japanese skills as well as the good working attitude compared to other candidates.

Daiso Group representatives interviewed 100 students of Dong A University

Daiso is a famous 100 - yen supermarket in Japan, with more than 2500 stores around Japan and over 500 franchise stores in other countries such as America, Canada, Rumani, India, Russia, Arab, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Students will have opportunities to both study and practice, especially directly take part in the business management job of Japanese in different steps so that they can gain more knowledge. It is the experience they get from the internship period that helps them work more professionally with Japanese colleagues in a country being famous for strict discipline. In addition, the students can be the owners of startup projects at UDA after completing the internship program in Japan.

According to Mr. Luong Minh Sam - the Vice Rector of Dong A University, who has had a close relationship with the country and the people in Japan since he was the Head of Division of Danang Representative Office in Tokyo, Japan has always been a leading market that attracts Vietnamese people to leave for working every year. The demand on human resource at Japanese companies, especially for tourism services, business management, nursing, food, car techniques, electronics, electricity, is increasing annually.”

Under the trend, Dong A University is among the organizations that are realizing the strategies to internationally widen the job market for students and Japan is the most breakthrough market. The very first students of UDA who joined the Japanese job market have been receiving lots of positive feedbacks from companies. Business Management is among the majors that have diverse curriculum meeting the demands of Japan businesses. Therefore, there are more and more reputable partners from Japan looking forward to collaborating with Dong A University in general and Management Faculty in particular. The major aim is to attract more qualified students to undertake the internship and work for groups in Japan, including Daiso.

In the upcoming time, the Management Faculty will promote deeper partnership with Japanese partners in order to create more job chances for students at professional working environment in reputable groups in Japan.
