On September 6, 2018, UDA organized an opening ceremony to welcome all students to come back school. Thousands of students gathered with lots of happiness and interest to start a new school year.
In that happy environment, students of Business Management Faculty also positively prepared for welcoming this important occasion. Coming to the kiosk of Business Management Faculty, people were totally attracted by delicious dishes made by the freshmen with glasses of icing jelly, lemonade, kimbap and spring rolls and so on.
Taking a look at educational kiosks, people could not take their eyes off the difference of the kiosk from Business Management Faculty. With the tipping point ‘Difference and Connection’, students designed a really interesting kiosk. Welcoming distinguished guests to the kiosk of Business Management Faculty, there were a poster about Business 4.0 and another image of Mr. Phikip Kotler – the father of modern marketing with a famous statement: “Marketing is a race without a finishing line.”
Entering the kiosk, visitors can see a lively space with academic books, green plants on the shelves and so on. Around the kiosk, visitors were really surprised at the portraits of lecturers from Business Management Faculty designed by students. They wanted to convey the meaning that education is as same as planting a tree, which all need to be taken care and nurtured. It is necessary for students to take care of themselves by reading books, widening knowledge and opening new horizon in the future. Besides, they also wanted to express their gratefulness towards lecturers through the pictures, which was a great connection between students and teachers.
According to Mr. Charlie Munger – a billionaire, in his whole life, he has never met any savant who does not read books. Reading books is a wonderful habit of successful people. Under the perspective of lecturers and students from Business Management Faculty, books are the great teacher of success. This was expressed through their educational kiosk with lots of books including specialized books in Marketing, Sales, business strategies and so on. In addition, there were other books about languages, lessons learnt from success and so on. Finally, the last meaning that we want to convey: “We hope to give you a new perspective of Business Management major through books”. With the most important book named ‘Marketing 4.0’ which was placed at the highest position, the faculty expressed its ambition to access the human development. Especially, when you are a member of the Faculty of Business Management, you must be really creative and create a difference like the statement of Mr. Philip Kotler.
